Athens comes together as a Family for the 2011 Christmas Party

A look at the Athens Christmas Party 2011!

Every year at Christmastime the Athens family from all three locations come together to celebrate Christmas and another blessed and prosperous year. We laugh, we sing, we enjoy the great wines and spirits from the many suppliers that we are fortunate to work with, and we live in the Christmas spirit of friends and family.

It is a great night where we all have the opportunity to come together and celebrate Christmas. This year we enjoyed each others company at fabulous LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans. The large venue accommodated our ever-growing family - the food was great, the company even better, and the view of the downtown skyline could not be beat. Employees even had the opportunity to get their pictures made underneath the beautiful LP Field Christmas trees.

Many of the pictures were traditional shots, but there were a few that tended to be on the silly side. The most loved aspect of the annual celebration is that it allows Athens the opportunity to honor and cherish the amazing employees that work in our family. The many divisions of the body of Athens is what makes the company succeed, and Christmas provides a time to recognize this. This celebration allows us to recognize the hard work and dedication that has kept Athens alive and thriving for these many years. 

The party is not without laughs, and it is never a dull moment. Without fail, every year there comes a point in the evening when team members begin a lively round of singing and dancing. This year we had some of our talented employees take over the guitar and microphone to perform their own special renditions of some favorite tunes.

In the end, the night was a success as we had the pleasure to come together and celebrate Christmas with our Athens family. It is a great way to kick off the Holiday season. We at Athens hope your Holidays were as happy as ours, and we look forward to our encounters in the New Year!
